Fifty, Focused & Fierce

Hello.  I turned 50 back in February.  In March I was told that I had cancer.  I prayed and when I had surgery in July, no cancer was found and for that I give God all the glory.  Recently I was doing an inventory of my life.  I looked at my daughter and saw that I had done a good job raising her.  I looked at my business and realized that I wasn't focused enough.  Then I looked at my life at fifty and realized that I wanted to be fierce again.  When I was in my twenties I was fierce.  But now all I do is work in my business and I have not taken care of myself.  So I decided last night that I would get up this morning and start this new blog about just me.  On Monday I will bring words to motivate, on Wednesday I will share what I did in my morning workout and Friday I call it Fun Fashion Friday, because I love having fun and I love clothes.  So I will be sharing something fun or fashionable on Friday.

It's been a long time since I just took some time to focus on me and what I really wanted outside of business.  This blog is all about me and the things that I want to achieve and accomplish over the next 50 years of my life.  So just to give you an idea of what some of those things are here is a short list:
  • Write a best seller
  • Grow my business to $1,000,000
  • Lose 100 pounds
  • Visit Italy, Greece and Africa
  • Go to the Superbowl with my husband
  • Build my dream home and purchase my dream car which is a Bently.
These are just a few of the things I'm working on, so thanks for stopping by and I hope that you come again.

Video: You Don''t Need Permission

Welcome To Motivation Monday.  I hope that you have decided that today is a new start and you are going to live the life that you want.  So my motivation today is "You Don't Need Permission To Do What You Want To Do.  So many times there are things in life that we want to do, but we keep putting them off waiting for some kind of permission to move forward.  Whether it is permission to start before the kids graduate high school, because you want to be a great parent or permission from your spouse or whatever.  In reality you don't need permission you just need to do it.  Check out my video below as I tell you what I've been waiting for permission to do for 20 years.
